Interior Design Workshops

Designworx runs short One Day Courses for Interior Design students, industry related careers, and public, that can be completed consecutively or each day on their own.

There are 3 topics that are covered, each course has a practical application and combined together, guides the participants through the process of putting together colour and fabrics and furniture in an interior design scheme for their own home or project.

Textiles- Covers the concept development phase of an interior scheme and choosing the right fabrics for the right application, both upholstery and window treatments. Includes a trade only showroom visit.

Colour- Looks at the physical and phsycological aspects of colour and how they affect us, as well as understanding your own personal connection with colour and creating colour schemes.

Furniture and Decor- A day exploring furniture and decor showrooms with an view to understanding what elements to consider when looking to furnish your own home or project. Most of these showrooms are trade only.

Cost $250.00 per day:  (early bird payment $225.00)
Where: Designworx Studio. 89 Vauxhall Rd. Devonport. Auckland

NB: Workshops run with a maximum of 12 people and a minimum of 6. Designworx reserves the right to cancel/postpone dates if minimum number is not reached and will do everything possible to ensure participants are informed.

Thanks Amanda, I found the day very useful and at the time felt quite overwhelmed. Having stepped back and thought more closely about everything that you covered- it is falling into place. My paint draw downs have arrived and look great against existing cabinetry
The builder will be doing some work this week- kitchen false ceiling The painter called last night and will be starting in 2 weeks.
